Anyone! You are welcome to join us whether you are a single traveller, a couple, a group of friends or a family (with children over the age of 7). Our tours are designed to be suitable for everyone!
We thinking going solo is a great way to travel, and encourage single travellers to join us on tour! Our tours travel in small groups, so the atmosphere is very friendly and it’s easy to get to know your fellow tour companions.
With us, small groups are guaranteed. Our tours travel with a maximum of 16 passengers each. By travelling in small groups there is always a friendly atmosphere, which provides a more authentic tour experience. By travelling in smaller vehicles our tours can use smaller country roads and access locations that many other tours cannot!
With our extended tours, your accommodation is included in the price. All the rooms we arrange will be en-suite and breakfasts are included. If you are staying in hotels, we only work with hotels that are 3* or more.
Our cancellation policy is flexible, but should you need to cancel, please let us know as soon as possible. To receive a refund for one of our day tours please cancel at least 24 hours before your departure, and for our extended tours please cancel at least 21 days ahead of your departure date. For our full cancellation policy, please take a look at our Terms and Conditions.
Our Flexi-Deposit is available for some of our extended tours. With the Flexi-Deposit you can secure your booking with a deposit payment of around 20%. This deposit is refundable and amendable should you need to change your plans. The remaining balance of your booking will be due 50 days before your departure date.
We are unable to accept bookings for children under the age of 7. Children between the ages of 7 and 15 must be accompanied by an adult.

There will be times where you may be on your feet for a while, so comfortable footwear is recommended! Also, due to the unpredictable nature of British weather, we advise bringing waterproof clothing. For up to date weather reports, visit: www.bbc.co.uk/weather.
We require that all of our guests travelling with us have appropriate travel insurance cover.
When you check-in, please bring your booking confirmation, which we will have sent you via e-mail after you booked your tour. You can show us your confirmation on a phone or tablet, so you do not need to print it.
The day normally begins between 8.30-9.00am when the tour sets off. Whilst travelling in the minibus your Driver-Guide will provide fun and interesting commentary about the places you are seeing whilst travel along the scenic country roads. At each stop your Driver-Guide will explain the relevant history, details of the places of interest and attractions, suggest places to eat and answer any questions you may have. Our days exploring generally conclude by 6pm.
If you are travelling on one of our overnight tours, then you will be picked-up and dropped off directly at your accommodation each day.
A Driver-Guide is an all-in-one tour guide, driver and comrade on the road! During a tour the Driver-Guide will of course drive the minibus, but also provide fun and interesting commentary about all of the places that you visit. During the tour if you have any problems or questions, your Driver-Guide will be there to help. Our Driver-Guides are passionate, hard-working & there to ensure you have a fantastic, memorable tour!
Yes of course! All of the destinations described in the tour itineraries are places that we visit and explore. The amount of time at each stop will vary depending on the specifics. So, we may take a quick 5-minute photo stop for scenery. Whilst at more siginficant destinations we will stop for several hours, to allow ample time to fully explore.
Our tours travel in comfortable, 16-seater modern Mercedes minibuses, which are fully air-conditioned, have leather seats, tinted passenger windows and device charging facilities. Our minibuses are very fuel-efficient and they are regularly maintained & serviced.
Entrance fees to attractions are not included in the cost of the tour, unless specified. We want to give you the choice of how you spend your time in the places we visit. During the tour your Driver-Guide will inform you about the attractions and the relevant admission fees.
Examples are as follows, with prices correct for 2020/21:
We strive to ensure that our operations have as little impact on the environment as possible. Our minibuses are very efficient, and by operating tours we are taking cars off the road. We also support tree planting projects in order to offset our carbon emissions. See our ‘Sustainable Tours‘ page for more details.
